It has been 25 years since Charlotte Crews decided to sell sterling silver flatware. There was a need in the Chicago area for a break in the retail price of sterling silver. So, Char opened her first store in an office building in Hinsdale.

The customer response was excellent. Which caused the addition of china, crystal and stainless to her lines, and the start of a large bridal registration.
